- Instructions for version 1.1
- ----------------------------
-
- QuickMount does not need to reside at the root level of your boot disk.
- If it's located in a subdirectory or on another disk entirely, the only
- change you'll have to make to the above instructions is that you'll
- have to modify the icon info in the QuickMount icons file. On the
- document icon located in this file, change the name of the application
- to the pathname of the QuickMount application. You can accomplish this
- with any one of the many icon editors available.
-
- After setting up QuickMount documents, you may place them anywhere on
- your disk as well. I usually find it most convenient to place the
- application and documents in a separate subdirectory on my hard drive.
-
- To perform a QuickMount of a server volume (or volumes), simply select
- the documents you wish to access, then select 'Open' from the file menu.
- If your QuickMount.Icons file is set up properly, the application should
- launch and then process each document in turn. If every server specified
- is mounted properly, the application will simply exit back to the finder.
- If there is a problem with any of the documents, QuickMount will display
- its window and give you the chance to update the information contained
- in the document.

- bumps and scrapes acquired along the way.)
